Catalunya Meteo is an Android application that offers real-time weather, weather radar, 7-day weather forecast, Pyrenees forecast, ski slope forecast, temperature maps, rain, lightning… And also a Twitter channel to find out the latest news. And it also offers webcams from many places in Catalonia!

Started in 2016, with a college classmate, Alejandro Rosas, is an application that is still being developed and maintained by us.

Backend

The project has a backend consisting of a cache to avoid high number of data usage. The data is gathered from:

• AEMET - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología
  
• Meteocat - Servei Meteorològic de Catalunya
  
• Meteoclimatic
